Horseshoe Bay Resort is located on Leech
Lake, one of Minnesota’s premier sport fishing lakes, which is full
of huge Muskies, nice Walleyes, lunker Northern Pike, Bass, Crappie,
Perch, Panfish, and our ever famous Eelpout!
Fish off one of our 60 slip marina docks,
rent one of our boats, fish out of your own, fish off the fishing
pier, it’s up to you.
The natural harbor has a max depth of 30’ in
the center. A weedy flat in front of the fishing pier makes for all
kinds of fishing. Slip bobbering walleyes with shiners has been the
best method. You can throw cranks, spinners, jigs, what have you.
Most of the structure under the marina is weedy flat, with pockets &
turns. The fishing pier is in 6’ of water, the guest dock in 10-12
feet. Some slips are from 2’-18’ at the end. Fishing at the rocky
harbor entrance can land some nice walleyes!
We have a bait and tackle shop, guides, fish cleaning(June to
August) and dock service. We also offer a

Alaskan fishing boats, pontoon & canoes, paddleboats.
